The Panthers couldn't secure the sweep as they ended the 3-game home stand with a tough 7-1 loss to the Jackson Cougars. Luke Cairns scored the Panther's sole goal in the Second Quarter - making it a close 1-1 game at that point. Unfortunately, the Panthers gave up 4 goals in the second quarter to make it a 5-1 game at half time.
The second half was MUCH CLOSER. Thanks to great back-play by Brandon, Isaac and Ellie - holding the Cougars scoreless for 1 1/2 quarters. The Cougars added 2 goals at the end of the fourth quarter.
Final score was 7-1.
